Playing games on PlayVello

Choose a game, read its controls and press Play now. Games run in a browser; no app installation or PlayVello account is required.

What is PlayVello?

PlayVello is a collection of free browser games with individual game pages, descriptions, controls and playing tips. You can choose puzzle, arcade and simulation games without creating a PlayVello account.

How do I start a game?

Open its game page and select Play now. Most games load inside the page. Some larger games open their hosted players in a new tab; each game page explains how its player opens. Allow the first asset download to finish before starting a level.

Do I need to download or install an app?

No app installation is required. Your browser downloads the game files when loading a game. A network connection is needed for those downloads; offline availability is not guaranteed.

Can I play on a phone?

The website adapts to smaller screens, and portrait games appear in the middle of the player with a blurred background at the sides. Controls and performance depend on the game, device and browser. Read the instructions on the game page and inside the game.

Where is my game progress saved?

Some games save progress or settings in this browser using local storage. There is no PlayVello account-based cloud save. Switching devices, using private browsing or clearing site data can remove access to local progress.

What should I do if a game is slow or does not start?

Allow time for the first asset download, check your connection and try reloading the game page. Close unused game tabs if the browser becomes slow. If the issue continues, contact PlayVello with the game name, your browser and what happened. Avoid clearing site data unless you accept that local game progress may be lost.

What do NEW and HOT mean?

NEW marks recently added games for 14 days after publication. HOT marks a PlayVello editor’s pick. HOT is a recommendation label and does not represent a measured player ranking.

Does rejecting analytics stop the games?

No. Optional Google Analytics is separate from the games. You can reject analytics or change your preference using Cookie settings in the footer. Read the privacy policy for details.
